One thing that Fusionary loves is to help others and #giveback to the West Michigan area and beyond. The entire team at Fusionary rallied together to help those in need from November 5-7, 2021 at Little Space Studio in Grand Rapids, MI.

The Fusionary volunteers were championed by Weekend for Good board member Jeremy Bell, principal software architect who led our team of faithful developers. Local non-profits were chosen and the task was given on Friday night…by Sunday teams submitted what they had accomplished to the entire group.

“I really enjoy having the opportunity to use the wealth of knowledge from our every day work to assist local non-profit organizations and the good they do,” Bell said. “It was fantastic to have our team together and help others in Grand Rapids.”

Weekend for Good helps those in need:

Every year volunteers who are experts in software development, design and other fields are selected to gather for three days to donate their time and expertise to local non-profits.

Code for Good provides workspace, food, coffee, and encouragement. Non-profit partners walk away with custom software to further their charitable missions. In turn, those non-profits create meaningful change in Grand Rapids and around the globe.

We look forward to seeing what next year brings for Grand Rapids.
