Scope of services:
- Led the KCAD web team through a user-centered design process, accounting for dozens of unique audiences.
- Established site architecture and intuitive navigation.
- Extended the creative direction from KCAD’s marketing materials to the web.
- Developed innovative features like an image background switcher serving as a photo tour, an interactive gallery turning slideshows into immersive full-page galleries, and a poster carousel acting as a virtual bulletin board for student-designed posters.
- Integrated an extensive content management system that allows for a granular editing and publishing workflow.
Since the new site launched, it’s been compared to websites of other leading art and design schools across the country.
